I have had 7 surgeries on it now and he does not want to touch it anymore. I am beginning to agree with everyone else!. Second did you ever find a lawyer for a class action suit because I will be glad to join in. And I still don't wear them but I feel it is going to happen. I have not had any problem with up-close vision, but my distance vision has become very bad, especially at night or in any area where there isn't good lighting. Boy was I wrong! you can add me to list, horrible results from the crystalens. I just wish I was warned about these downfalls ahead of time, instead of being told I would have near-perfect to perfect vision, and have no more halos or glare from lights, but it seems at that time, they were really just trying to get as much money as possible. Now Im stuck with these in my eyes forever and my vision is worse now than it was before my cataract surgery. Each visit I was told I am not producing any tears, I never had a problem with tears or pollen until this procedure! He didn't find any macular impairment so I am hoping I will get that lazer treatment tomorrow. I had 20/20 distance and close up were getting bad to the point I was wearing cheaters with 200/225 lenses. About 2 years ago I finally had enough money to do cataract surgery so I could get the best lenses for my eyes. The same result when the left eye was done on Sept. 25. I have to spend a fortune on prescription pressure drops prescribed by a retinal Dr as well as dry eye drops. ( Id.) What a mistake! Any lawyers out there? I got mono vision(recommended by doctor) and it sucks just as bad as what you all are saying. Went to an Ophthalmologist who told me he would never recommend thesse lenses for one of the reasons the goop in our eyes build up on those wings thus preventing the promised movement. The last time I saw the doctor, he stated that, "I guess you are one of the fifteen percent for whom the Crystalens doesn't work." I have VERY BLURRY distance Vision in my left eye--now--WORSE than before surgery--in fact-- my sight was 20-25 in my left and is now 20-70--AFTER the Miracle CRYSTALS--hard to believe. She suffered with poor vision at all distances and was so light sensitive that she had to sit in a dark room with sunglasses and could not go outside except on very cloudy days. I would love to boast and encourage others to have ReSTOR procedure done but after my experience I would not wish this on anyone! Finally, he saw me there that evening, applied some drops on my eye and send me home without any improvement of my pain. I have had laser correction once so far and it didn't help whatsoever, and now he says that he wants to see me in another year, and in the meantime told me to see my regular eye doctor and get some anti-glare glasses and buy some reading glasses.
