She is survived by daughter Ione Lewis of Gallatin and Sandra DeMoss (Tom) of Hendersonville; sister Sue Clay Eaves of Lewisburg; grandchildren Renee Lively (Kenny), Trey Lewis (Meredith), Jim DeMoss (Lori), Julie Shaw and David DeMoss (Amy); great-grandchildren Kensley Hayes, Katey Lively, Carter Lively, Alex Lively, Sara Lively, Bryce Lewis, Ryan Lewis, Zachary DeMoss, Libby DeMoss, Zoe Shaw, Leah DeMoss and McClain DeMoss; and great-great-grandchildren Braden Hayes, Elle Hayes and Ava Grace Lively. He then moved to Hendersonville and opened Town and Country Barber Shop, now Bob Reese Barber Shop, which is still in operation. A private memorial service has taken place in Tennessee and a graveside family service in Alabama. He was born August 17, 1933, in Gallatin, to the late Judge William P. Puryear, Jr. and Judelle (Reynolds) Puryear.
